Pat flying the flag at Special Olympics Ireland Winter Games

Celebrations were in full swing at Cope Foundation Fermoy earlier this week, as Pat Collins prepared to make his way to the Special Olympics Ireland Winter Games which take place in Armagh later this month.

From Ballyhooly, Pat is an attendee of Cope Foundation Fermoy’s Day Centre and will be competing in the Men’s Division 4 floorball alongside his three teammates, who are each attendees of Cope Foundation, Mallow.

At the Cope facility on Tuesday, Pat and his sisters Anne and Noreen, along with day centre attendees and staff at Cope, gathered to celebrate the local man’s achievement, wishing him well in advance of his departure.
