Parking ticket spurs calls to see casual trading spaces in Fermoy reviewed

A parking ticket which was issued in Fermoy spurred calls to see casual trading spaces in the town reviewed, with the space at Fermoy Education Centre (FEC) on O’Neill Crowley Quay at the centre of the discussion.

Cllr William O’Leary, stating he recently got a parking ticket at this location, claimed that the casual trading space here is ‘not serving the purpose that it’s there for’.

Tabling a motion on the matter, Cllr O’Leary called for the casual trading spaces to be removed and to reintroduce normal parking spaces.
