Parked car ‘written off’ by hit and run

Calls have been extended for speed ramps to be installed on Walker’s Hill in Fermoy after several residents of Lynch Terrace have seen their cars hit by passing vehicles.

One local, Anthony Taaffe, said that his car was ‘written-off’ in a hit-and-run by a passing vehicle that has yet to be identified.

“It was a bank holiday and I came out on a Tuesday morning to go to work and my car was completely a write-off.
