This Saturday, October 12, the new Stag Park playground in Mitchelstown will be officially opened by representatives from Ballyhoura Development and Reidy’s SuperValu.

While the playground has been in use since the end of August when the children returned to school, this official opening will give people both from Stag Park and the wider community, the chance to celebrate the new amenity in the area.

On the day there will be music, provided by Josh Cott and complimentary refreshments. It will be a great day for people who haven’t explored what the playground has to offer to come along and see what it’s like. People from all over Mitchelstown are welcome from noon on Saturday.

There will also be a raffle draw for prizes, with all those who contributed to the Stag Park project, in the running for some great prizes.
