Nissan has announced its full pricing and line-up for the new Nissan Ariya 100% electric crossover which is set to revolutionise the EV market in Ireland with a starting price of €48,995.
The zero emissions car has attracted massive interest since it was launched last May and is destined to become one of the best-selling EVs in Ireland as its stylish design, connected technologies and premium drive experience continues to attract new EV buyers.
The new car is fuelling Nissan’s rapid shift towards an electrified future, combining the pioneering EV, crossover and performance expertise that has already made the Nissan LEAF and Nissan Qashqai market leaders.
Two battery options are available, a 63kWh battery that delivers a range of 403 kilometres and an 87 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 532 kilometres, making the no compromise Ariya perfect for both daily commutes and longer road trips.
The car is available in two grade options, Advance and Evolve.
The 63kWh Nissan Ariya Advance is the entry grade model and starts at €48,995 (inclusive of Government grants) with the higher spec Evolve grade in the same 63kWh battery option priced from €51,995 (inclusive of Government grants).
Pricing for the larger 87kWh battery in the entry Advance grade specification starts at €63,995 (no grants available) with the higher spec Evolve grade 87 kWh option coming in from €66,995 (no grants available).
“The pricing that we have achieved is extremely competitive for a car of this quality. The spacious design, advanced technology within the car and overall premium feel once you sit into it are what customers are talking about above all else. This is the EV they have been waiting for and our pricing and grade options allow them to make the switch to electric driving without compromise,” said Seamus Morgan, Managing Director of Nissan Ireland.
The new Ariya is the most technically advanced Nissan to date. It has been specially designed to meet the needs of tech-savvy customers and to be a partner in an increasingly connected world, offering seamless, personal assistance and responses.
The entry grade Advance specification is packed full of standard features usually reserved for higher grade options such as Wireless Apple Carplay, cabled Android Auto, a wireless phone charger and Intelligent personal assistance technology.
Nissan’s Safety Shield System also comes as standard in the Advance grade, including Intelligent 360 Around View Monitor, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Driver Alertness, Intelligent Cruise Control and Lane Intervention, Intelligent Emergency Braking (Pedestrian & Cyclist Detection, Junction Assist), Rear Emergency Braking and cross traffic alert technology.
Other standard features include ProPilot with Navi-Link, Dual 12.3” TFT screens with Navi display, Nissan Connected Services, USB Type-A & Type-C (front and rear) and e-Pedal, which allows drivers to launch, accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator.
