A global leader in advanced IT asset disposal, data destruction, technology reuse and manufacturing services – Wisetek – has announced the appointment of Paul Cogan as its new chief financial officer, effective immediately.
The company has Irish operations in Glanmire and Dublin Hill, Cork and Dublin. As part of Mr Cogan’s role, he will be responsible for the financial operations of Wisetek in Ireland, and its facilities in the UK, the USA, the Middle East and Thailand.
With over 20 years financial experience, Paul has worked with numerous Irish and global brands. He will also join the company’s board.
Previously, Paul was the Group CFO with the Irish Times. Prior to that, he held a number of senior finance roles with Diageo, including Global Sell to Cash Director and Commercial Finance Director for the Nordic Region.
He also held a number of senior positions in Hungary and Denmark during his 18 years with the company.

Paul holds a degree in Business and Accounting from the University of Limerick.
