It’s show time! Glenroe Molanna players are proud to present this year’s performance of ‘Sive’ by the late John B. Keane.
This classic follows the tale of the beautiful young Sive who lives with her aunt and uncle in rural Kerry.
Seán Dóta, an elderly farmer, offers the local match-maker Thomasheen Seán Rua, a large sum for her hand in marriage. Will this be too much for her aunt and uncle to resist? Rediscover this dark, powerful story of greed and passion.
The first curtain call will be on Thursday 9th February and will run through to Sunday 12th in Glenroe Community Hall. This year’s cast has some fresh faces, threading the boards for the first time as well as some stalwarts. It promises to be a great show so don’t miss out.
