Mobilising motors for Marymount

The hard work of Liam O’Donnell and his committee paid off handsomely last weekend when a huge crowd turned up for Motors For Marymount – a tractor, car and bike run in aid of the Cork hospice.

With the old mart site in Mitchelstown no longer available to organisers, the meet-up point was The Firgrove Hotel car park – this proved ideal and a sincere word of thanks to Pat Tangney for his co-operation.

Spacious as it is, the car park was nearly completely full by noon, as drivers came from far and near to assist this good cause.
