Two projects in Mitchelstown are to share a funding allocation of almost €433,000 which has been made available through the LEADER programme operated by the Department of Community and Rural Development.
Mitchelstown Tennis Club has secured €200,000 under the 'Basic Services for Hard to Reach Communities' strand of the LEADER programme.
A total of almost €233,000 has been allocated to Mitchelstown Community Centre under the Rural Youth theme.
