Mitchelstown Driving Test Centre has begun accepting applicants this week, with a view to tests commencing on Monday, December 15.
The new centre, which became available on the MyRoadSafety portal on Tuesday, October 28, is located at Mitchelstown Community Enterprise Centre at Coolnanave Industrial Estate on the Dublin Road.
As news of the opening of the new centre broke, local driving instructors welcomed the announcement. Mairead Murphy of Blackwater Driving School outlined that they already have instructors working in Mitchelstown, who they expect will become busier once testing begins locally.
