Since opening earlier this year on Mitchelstown’s Upper Cork Street, Blueberries Bakery & Café has established a strong trade, helping to giving a boost to the economic life of the town.
Believing in sourcing their products locally, owner Michael O’Sullivan this week told The Avondhu that business was going well, as they look forward to the opening of their in-store bakery.
“Business has been very good since we opened, the people of Mitchelstown have made me feel very welcome to the town’” he said. “I have recently moved back into the town again following a two year stint in Charleville. I am originally from Glenroe in Co. Limerick, but Mitchelstown would always have been the local town for us.”
