The friends of Mick O’Regan will hold their fourth Memorial Motorcycle Run in aid of Pieta House on Saturday, August 6th.
Sign in is at Kit Roche’s Bar in Buttevant, Co. Cork from 10.30am with the run leaving at 12.30pm. Entry is by donation and all are very welcome.
This has been a magnificent motorcycle run over the past three years and this year will be even better with music on the street prior to the run.
A very pleasant and challenging route has been chosen for this year’s run and The Friends of Mick O’Regan would like to invite all participants back to Kit Roche’s Bar after the run for refreshments, some food, a raffle and music.
There will also conduct bucket collections for Pieta House in Buttevant, Mallow, Fermoy and Charleville throughout the day.
“All four towns have been very generous towards Pieta House over the years”, a spokesperson said “and we hope they won’t mind us imposing on their wonderful generosity once again on August 6th”.
Pieta House, the centre for the prevention of self-harm or suicide is very close to the hearts of The Friends of Mick O’Regan, having lost Mick in tragic circumstances four years ago.
Pieta House staff provide the most wonderful confidential service, they have saved many lives and they have changed countless lives for the better and continue to do so.
However, they need our help. They are a non-profit organisation that relies on fundraising for 90% of the money they need to provide the service.
August 6th will be a really great day out in North Cork for bikers and the general public alike. Spread the word, it’s for a really deserving cause.
