Retired Army members from the four provinces of Ireland, also from Canada, New York and the British midlands who attended the former Army Apprentice School in Naas in the 1960s gathered to mark their 50 year reunion recently.
In total more than 30 retired officers who enlisted in the school back in 1966 were delighted to meet up again in Naas to share memories, amongst them Anglesboro native and local businessman, Patrick English, a noted GAA and community activist.
