St. Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy Fundraising Association have organised many successful events in the past, but none has had the staying power of their annual music marathon.
The success of the marathon has been incredible and once again, the public turned out in record numbers to support last Sunday’s extravaganza in Cheers Bar.
Based at MacCurtain Street, Cheers Bar has been instrumental to the marathon’s success and the popular pub was heaving last weekend. There was a time in the past when the marathon would have a quiet hour or two, but, not last Sunday.
