Local libraries hosting ‘A Conversation with your LEO’

The Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Joe Carroll is encouraging small and medium-sized business owners and entrepreneurs in County Cork to attend roadshows with their Local Enterprise Office this Summer. The series of events called ‘A Conversation with your LEO’ will arrive in Kanturk, Macroom, Youghal, Carrigaline, Clonakilty, Midleton, Skibbereen, Millstreet, Mitchelstown, Mallow and Bandon during June and July. Mitchelstown, Midleton, Mallow and Youghal libraries are among those set to host ‘A Conversation with your LEO’ this summer.

Small and medium sized business owners and entrepreneurs are being encouraged to attend the event by Mayor of the County of Cork Cllr Joe Carroll, as the Local Enterprise Office Roadshows visit the towns.

“The roadshow provides a valuable networking opportunity,” said Mayor Carroll. “You’ll be able to connect with other business owners in your area, share experiences, and build relationships that can benefit your business in the long run. Whether you’re looking to expand your operations, develop new products, or simply need some guidance on managing your finances, your LEO has resources to assist you,” he added.

During June and July, the roadshow will also take to Kanturk, Macroom, Carrigaline, Clonakilty, Skibbereen, Millstreet and Bandon, as well as the aforementioned libraries.

‘A Conversation with your LEO’ organised by South Cork and Cork North & West LEOs, are an opportunity to connect with a network of support that can help navigate challenges of running a business.

Attendees will have a chance to speak directly with LEO representatives who can answer specific questions, provide advice and help to identify the support and grants that are available.
