Local gyms are looking forward to early July when they may reopen their doors to the public for indoor training and hopefully, group sessions and classes.
Like many other fitness operations, Crixus Gym in Fermoy reopened its doors on June 7, however, are operating at restricted numbers due to the lockdown and have been running outdoor classes since guidelines have allowed.
Speaking with The Avondhu, Nicola Mannix of Crixus Gym said that while they did not run online classes during the lockdown, personal trainers at the gym continued their work with clients online. Since reopening, she says that they have been ‘really busy’.
