There was good news this week for clubs throughout The Avondhu readership area, a number of whom received the maximum grant of €150,000 for their respective projects under the Sports Capital Programme.
These include Fermoy FC for an Astro Turf pitch and floodlights; Rathcormac for the village’s 2030 Plan; Park United AFC for the development of an all-weather pitch at their Mitchelstown grounds and Castlelyons GAA Club towards the development of a new pitch.
