Pubs and restaurants across the region returned to some form of normality on bank holiday Monday, as outdoor facilities opened up to eager customers.

In Lismore, Foley’s On The Mall opened up two of its outdoor seating areas – The Stone Room, which can seat 36 customers and the Blue Garden, which can seat 86 people. According to owner Caitlin Lyons, they have looking forward to meeting with customers again.

“It was wonderful. We’ve had a long few months of closures so it was great to see everybody coming back. The weather co-operated too, so it was a really great, busy day”.
