Valley Healthcare’s recent purchase of the LivingHealth Clinic in Mitchelstown has been described as a “very positive move for the clinic,” by General Manager, Julie Beamish.
Valley Healthcare is under the management of Glencar Healthcare, which was founded by surgeon Mr John Drumm and is chaired by former HSE Chief Executive, Prof Brendan Drumm.
“In Glencar Healthcare we have an entity that is steeped in Irish Healthcare, which can only be a positive for patients in terms of their knowledge in how healthcare is delivered in Ireland and what needs to be improved,” said Ms Beamish.
As part of the pre-sale agreement of the Mitchelstown facility, the HSE will occupy additional space in the building, once used as a gym facility, for consulting rooms which is expected to lead to an extension of services in the future, including a dental practice.
