The South Armagh based Danny Byrne Band, proved a massive hit with patrons in Araglin last Saturday night. Arriving early, the band left nothing to chance, in advance of what was a sold out show.
Buses from neighbouring counties helped ferry concert goers to the south Tipperary venue for what was widely described as ‘one of the best live performances of the year’.
BUSY, BUSY, BUSY
For carnival chairman, Kieran O’Donovan and his hardworking crew, it was a hectic night. Those manning the ticket booth were very busy, bar staff were flat out and security staff were kept on their toes. Weather wise, it was a fine night, which allowed revellers to unwind out of doors.
