Fermoy man, Tom Murray, was honoured over the weekend as he was presented with the 2024 Lifetime Achievement award by Volunteer Ireland.
For over 20 years now, Tom has volunteered with Cope Foundation in Fermoy in various ways, from fundraising to organising music sessions, and taking service users out and about in the town.
Volunteer coordinator, Milly Farrell, explained that Tom has greatly contributed to the Foundation’s services in Fermoy, by donating his time and helping in many different ways, depending on the needs of the service.
