Liam Lynch’s memory perpetuated

As readers will be aware, there’s more than one commemoration for Anglesboro born Republican, Liam Lynch.

The event in Fermoy is accepted as the ‘national’ commemoration and a hardworking committee put in a lot of work every year to ensure its smooth running.

In keeping with tradition, the committee invite a guest speaker and on Sunday last’s occasion, the oration was given by Michelle Drysdale, a great granddaughter of executed 1916 leader, Thomas MacDonagh.
