Work to renovate the Liam Lynch Monument in Kilcrumper Old Graveyard is at an advanced stage.
Ed Sheedy, sculptor, has carried out renovation works on the memorial at the Republican Plot at Kilcrumper Old Graveyard, outside Fermoy.
Cllr Deirdre O’Brien, chairwoman of the General Liam Lynch Commemoration Committee, visited the site to discuss works being carried out.
She remarked that there is expected to be a big gathering in September, to commemorate the life of General Lynch.
