Leaving their locks behind to aid LauraLynn

Wednesday, 18th February was D-Day for Glenahulla National School pupils, Lucy Guilfoyle and Dervla Magee, as they said goodbye to their flowing locks, so that funds would flow for children’s hospice, LauraLynn.

The big-hearted 3rd class pupils took centre stage in the school hall as local hairdresser, Clare Jermey, sharpened her scissors in preparation for the big ‘chop off’. Supported by teachers and fellow pupils, the girls said they were delighted to be able to assist sick children.
