Over 58,000 students nationally returned to their old schools on Wednesday morning this week to find out their results from this summer’s Leaving Certificate examinations.
Locally, hundreds of students in secondary schools across the The Avondhu region opened their results to much celebration and delight
Staff in Fermoy’s three secondary schools, St Colman’s College, Loreto Secondary School and Coláiste an Chraoibhín, along with Blackwater Community School in Lismore all reported strong performances by students.
On Monday the CAO will announce the first round of offers for college courses.
