Weather was no contest for Santa at the Strand last weekend, as a strong turnout was seen in support of the annual fundraising event.
Almost 400 people turned out on Sunday for a rally of support of the festive event as an air of uncertainty surrounds its future.
Santa on the Strand, which has been run for the last few years, has been met with opposition as objections have been lodged regarding the event taking place in its usual location due to concerns regarding biodiversity.
