The annual Christmas party for the Kilfinane senior citizens was held on Saturday last, December 10th at Kilfinane Education Centre and once again it was a great success with a good attendance.
The day commenced with Mass celebrated at the Centre by Fr Michael O’Shea PP which was a very beautiful ceremony.
There then followed a five star quality meal. Excellent entertainment followed provided by Scoil Fhionain Band under the guidance of Joan Slattery who got proceedings off to a great start, while the ever popular Charlie Reynolds provided the music for the afternoon with numerous contributions from the those present …
