A day long series of events took place in Kildorrery last Saturday – all with the aim of assisting Jer Spillane, a much respected family man who was recently diagnosed with the condition, Motor Neurone.
Local volunteers were out early in preparation for what proved to be a very well supported coffee morning in the local hall.
There was a constant stream of visitors, all eager to contribute and show solidarity with Jer and his family.
