A sweep of burglaries took place in Kilbehenny before the new year in which three houses were broken into on the same night.
A Garda spokesperson has confirmed that all off the houses were broken into on December 29, 2016 between 7pm and 8pm. Cash and jewellery were taken in the incidents.
A possible fourth attempted burglary was also reported in Kilbehenny around the same time. The owners of the house were not home, but when they returned they found what could have been evidence of attempted forced entry to the premises.
