Mitchelstown GAA star Mark Keane said his North Cork club and county are always on his mind and he would never miss an opportunity to play at home.
The 20-year-old is home from Melbourne where he is living every player’s dream of lining out for professional Aussie football side, Collingwood.
But it was his last strike goal against Kerry for Cork on Sunday that is the stuff of dreams for the young man.
“I came home five weeks ago. I did two weeks isolation and then straight back into training. I came home the day after Collingwood got knocked out against Geelong. I just wanted to be part of the Cork team straight away and I am home now until January,” he said.
