Galbally show jumper Katie Frazer and her horse Keylogues Clover Lady ('Izzy') have qualified for this years RDS for an incredible 4th time in five years.

It is a truly remarkable achievement for the pair as just two years ago, Izzy suffered an injury that meant she wouldn't jump fences of 90cm in height.

But having bounced back last year, Katie travelled to Ravensdale Lodge Equestrian Centre in Dundalk on Saturday last to put on a near perfect display to qualify for this year’s prestigious competition.

Qualification for the Dublin Horse Show is always extremely tough and this year is no different with 1,200 entries expected and just 32 places up for grabs.

Katie is a great producer of horses, not only did she secure her showjumping place in the RDS on Saturday, but Katie then travelled to Kilguilkey House near Mallow on Sunday in order to compete another of her horses Keylogues Red Clover (Storm) in an Eventing Ireland One Day Event.

Another great day out for her, she won her 1 star class. It was the pairing's first day out at this level so it was a super result.

A huge well done to Katie after all her hard work, it takes a lot of time and massive commitment and everyone at The Avondhu wishes her all the best for the RDS.
