2016 was a fantastic year for Irish football. Robbie Brady’s header against Italy, Dundalk representing the League of Ireland immensely in the Europa League, Cork City winning the FAI Cup, and closer to home, Cobh Ramblers reaching the First Division promotion play-offs.
We want 2017 to be even better for our fans and that is the message we are sending from a resurgent Cobh Ramblers Football Club. Today we launched our 2017 Season Ticket campaign.
2016 saw the biggest attendance at Cobh Ramblers in many years as over 2,000 people cheered on the young home side in First Division Playoffs against the much fancied Drogheda United.
The multi-media campaign has already launched with the #JoinPaul video featuring ‘Paul’ – a proud Cobh native and Cobh Ramblers season ticket holder. Paul’s pilgrimage around the sights and sounds of Cobh is an enjoyable and fun viral video that has already captured the hearts of thousands on social media.
The #JoinPaul campaign will encourage people to buy a Cobh Ramblers season ticket as the exciting young team will again push for promotion to the Premier Division. It is the creation of MBS marketing students in CIT, who are partnering the club in our 2017 marketing campaign.
