Limerick senior hurling manager and Galbally man John Kiely, is among the most illustrious managers in the country, according to RTÉ, as he is shortlisted for the Sport Manager of the Year award.
The awards will be presented by Joanne Cantwell and Darragh Maloney this coming Saturday evening on RTÉ One, ‘when the stars of a remarkable year of Irish sporting achievements at home and abroad will be honoured’.
The all-male list of nominees includes representatives from rugby, camogie, rowing and paracycling, amongst others.
