‘Inconsiderate motorists’ a danger near Watergrasshill school

Traffic, travelling past Watergrasshill National School from the motorway direction, can technically travel at 80kph due to existing signage in place. 

Local councillor, Sheila O’Callaghan, raised the issue at a  meeting of the Cobh Municipal District earlier this week, outlining that coming off the motorway on the exit to the roundabout, signage indicates 80kph. At the top of the slip way, it then connects with the road outside Watergrasshill National School.

“It actually says 80kph, so when you’re coming in to that school roundabout, technically, they can officially be doing 80kph. It is quite a high speed location.
