There was a good bit happening last Friday night around Mitchelstown, with a fundraising quiz for Marymount Hospice taking place in The Hunter’s Rest Bar & Restaurant.

This event was a follow up to ‘Motors For Marymount’ – a hugely successful vehicle run that catered for tractors, classic cars and motorbikes. As was the case for the run, members of St. George’s Arts & Heritage Centre committee helped out, with historian and award winning photographer, Bill Power, setting and posing the questions.

There was a nice crowd in attendance and the raffle was well supported on the night.
