Fermoy Forum, which is now up and running and, comprised of committed individuals from a variety of backgrounds, has the potential to be a vehicle for positive change in Fermoy. 

It can’t do everything at once and to realise its full potential, businesses, residents associations, groups, clubs and community activists will have to pull together.

In chairperson Marie Barry, they have a consensus person who has a detailed understanding of matters financial and those she has assembled to assist her, are all competent individuals who have that all important work ethic.

Fermoy Forum members were guests of Tom Aherne, proprietor of The Wagon Tavern, where the group’s official launch took place. Tom and his staff hosted a very enjoyable barbecue that eased those in attendance into the proceedings.
