Almost ten towns and villages in the locality received over 300 points in the results of this years SuperValu Tidy Towns Competition with two gold awards and one bronze award making their way to The Avondhu area.
As always, Coolagown and Lismore kept their extremely high standard winning a pretigious gold medal each.
Castletownroche did themselves very proud claiming a bronze medal with an impressive 327 points an increase of 6 points from last year’s results.
