Graffiti that appeared at Brigown Cemetery, Mitchelstown over the weekend came as a shock to many locals.
The black graffiti, containing anti-lockdown sentiments, appeared Sunday morning on the front wall of the graveyard and was believed to have been done on Saturday night.
Chairperson of the Mitchelstown Community Council, Sean Finn, condemned the graffiti on the cemetery wall.
“It’s dirty work, wherever it would be. It’s horrible seeing it coming into the town. It’s bad form,” he told The Avondhu.
