There were high hopes for Golantilla, the horse bred and trained by Kilworth’s Sean O’Brien going into the 2 mile bumper at Cheltenham on Wednesday and he didn’t disappoint.

New owner, Barry Connell is likely to be pleased, if not exactly ecstatic, with his third place showing. The horse had a starting price of 9/1 and was ridden by Danny Mullins.
