
Joy has flooded through the communities of Glenroe and Ballyorgan this week as news emerged that their school would reopen after a long fight by locals.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by local politician, Minister of State for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform, Patrick O’Donovan.
Glenroe-Ballyorgan Community Council and Glenroe National School Working Group said they were delighted that Minister for Education & Skills, Joe McHugh had made the announcement that a Community National School will open in the South Limerick village in September 2020.
