Residents of the Glenarousk area of Castlelyons, living on the main road that connects Conna to Rathcormac, near Coole, have spoken out about their fears living on the busy road in close proximity to the dangerous Kenny’s Cross where the L1516 Fermoy to Castlelyons road intersects the L1515 road that connects Corrin, Coole and Conna. 

This follows a report in The Avondhu last week which highlighted dangerous junctions in the Castlelyons area following a three-car collision at Leary’s Cross. 

One local, James Murphy, who lives on a dangerous bend on the road approaching Kenny’s Cross, has had significant damage done to his property due to accidents on the road.
