Glanworth residents have been facing a series of water supply issues over the past few weeks due to ongoing and repeated issues with local water infrastructure.
“It seems to be at least once a week there’s an issue. We’ve had weeks and weeks and weeks of this," Helena Kennerley, Chairperson of Glanworth Community Council said.
“Residents are not getting any notice. If they had a couple of hours notice at least they could stock up and prepare. Normally Irish Water will text on the day and water could be gone with a couple of hours beforehand,” Helena said, adding that issues on Tuesday of last week were attributed to a burst water main.
