There was success for both Glanworth and Mitchelstown in this year’s Anti-Litter Challenge promoted by Cork County Council with Glanworth being adjudged the ‘Most Improved Village’ and Mitchelstown taking 3rd place overall in its category.
Cllr Kay Dawson expressed her delight for those involved with the Glanworth vinitiative.
“I was delighted to share our experience in AROMA with the Glanworth Tidy Town’s group when it was getting going earlier in the year. This Most Improved Village Award is a nice reward for the Trojan work going into improving the village so, well done.”
