A very important piece of infrastructure has become a reality in Glanworth following last Sunday's official opening of a new playground.
Location is always an important consideration and by situating the impressive amenity in the village's Rose Garden, the playground is at the heart of community activity in Glanworth.
Sunday's programme of events ran smoothly with that great uncontrollable, the weather, proving the old sticking point.
Nevertheless, organisers pressed ahead, and with the co-operation of Jenny Healy, 'The School Around The Corner' playschool was the location for formal speeches.
