The 39th annual Galbally Garden Fete once again ticked all the right boxes on Sunday last and proved to be another invaluable fundraiser for the local community council.

This year’s garden fete might have been lacking in big name stars but it made up for it with a varied programme of events and, of course, musical entertainment from the home grown talent of Kim’s People and also PJ Murrihy from West Clare.

The fete offered a little bit of something for everyone including carnival attractions, a bucking broncho, the ‘Kube’, face painting kick darts football and a wheel of fortune.
