Seven staff members from Ford Ireland, dubbed the ‘Super Seven’ by their colleagues, have each recently taken delivery of a sleek new Ford Focus ST model.
The seven (three ladies and four gents) each bought the new model Focus ST that was launched during 2015.
“Whether for the enthusiast or novice, the Focus ST possesses all the great, fun-to-drive qualities that drivers want – and this latest model brings the fun factor to even higher levels,” said Ciarán McMahon, Chairman and Managing Director, Ford Ireland. “That is why I am not surprised that so many of our team members have opted for the gorgeous, sporty Focus ST”.
The latest Focus ST offers an even more responsive, balanced and refined driving experience with new chassis control technologies, tuned suspension and steering, and bespoke tyre specification.
“All seven of the cars ordered by our ‘Super Seven’ are the new diesel model – that is a testament to how great a car the new diesel Focus ST is”
Previously, the Focus ST was only ever offered with a petrol powertrain but with this latest model, Ford has added a diesel option that takes day-to-day usability and sportiness to a new level by delivering the most fuel‑efficient and lowest CO2 Ford performance car ever.
The new 185 PS 2.0‑litre TDCi model achieves 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.1 seconds, 4.2 L /100 km (67.3 mpg), and 110 g/km CO2.
“All seven of the cars ordered by our ‘Super Seven’ are the new diesel model – that is a testament to how great a car the new diesel Focus ST is,” said McMahon.

From the Marketing Department, David Gregg said: “I would echo what Claire has said, and, indeed, I am sure each one of us would concur. The Focus ST is a real ‘driver’s’ car that just puts a smile on your face every time you get into it”.
Available as either hatchback or estate, the Focus ST powertrains include a 2.0 litre 250PS EcoBoost petrol or the 2.0 litre 185PS TDCi diesel and the car is priced from €39,100.
