The two First Responders groups that serve both Mitchelstown and the communities of Doneraile, Mallow, and Buttevent, have between them responded to almost 30 callouts in the Christmas period.
The Mitchelstown First Responders Group who launched in September last year, responded to eight calls from the 22nd December until last Saturday, 28th December, while the Doneraile, Buttevant, and Mallow Community Responders attended 17 callouts over the holiday period.
