Bishop Murphy Memorial School pupil Luca Cy Fitzgerald, recently signed for Cork City FC's U13 team and will play in the inaugural U13 League of Ireland which kicks off on March 17.
The 12 year old first started playing soccer at the age of 5 with Fermoy FC and continued with his home club up to U12s before transferring to Ringmahon Rangers in the city.
He played nine matches with the new team before being signed for Cork City FC.
Coming from a sporty family, Luca Cy has always had strong support behind him to help him to follow his dream.
