It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and the Christmas lights in Fermoy will be officially switched on in the centre of town on Friday, November 24, otherwise known as Black Friday.
The magic switch on will take place at 6.15pm outside Synergy Credit Union on Patrick Street.
As usual this will be a great occasion with the main man himself, Santa, popping in to ensure proceeding run smoothly.
Black Friday will also give the retailers the opportunity to show what fantastic bargains are to be had in the town when it comes to Christmas shopping.
A lot of retailers and businesses will have special offers available over that weekend.
