Fermoy GAA goes down the ‘Country’ road

Months of preparation came to a head last Sunday with the inaugural hosting of ‘Fermoy Goes Country’ – a mammoth undertaking by any measure. 

Running a large and successful GAA club is an expensive business and it’s a constant challenge to ensure funds keep coming in.

Fermoy GAA falls into the ‘large and successful’ category and as a result, considerable expenditure is incurred. 

A great many fundraising ideas were considered before going down the open air concert route, with country and Irish being the genre of choice.
